LOCATION AND SHOW TIMES/LENGTHS: 

Mary Rowlandson Elementary School, 103 Hollywood Drive, Lancaster, MA 01532.

Shows are at 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. Each show will be approximately 2 hours long. 

TICKETS, ADMISSION & SEATING: 

There are no tickets for this event. Seating is done on a first come basis. The front row is reserved for staff. The admission fee is a food pantry item that will be donated to the Hudson food Pantry. Bring as many items as you wish! We like to refer to this performance as very informal, fun and somewhat chaotic. Due to its informality, this celebration is not run in the same format as our spring recital, parents are responsible for their own dancers

 

DRESSING UP AND SHOWING UP: 
The vibe is festive fun, don't stress! All dancers are encouraged to arrive in festive holiday attire that is safe to dance in. Each dancer should have with them the following items:

• a bag to contain their belongings.

• a water bottle that has their name clearly labeled on it.
  * Due to allergies and theatre clean up fees - please do not pack snacks.

• Their first dance shoes should be on their feet, all others should be in their bag 
  
  Please label all shoes with your student's name! 
  Parents/Guardians should hang on to any jackets and non-dance shoes -
  ie. the boots or sneakers they wore to the school. 

All dancers should arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before their show's start time.

10:45 AM Arrival for the 11:00 AM Kindergarten and Pre-School show. 

Promptly find a seat in the auditorium, taking your dancer with you. Dancers will be called to the stage 2-3 performances at a time. At the conclusion of their routine please come to the side of the stage designated for pick up, if you dancer is in multiple routines you will retrieve them and follow the same pattern. You are not required to attend the entire performance, however, please do not leave during a routine as this will be disruptive to both dancers and family.

12:45 PM Arrival for the 1:00 PM (RESA) Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire, Amber (Grade 1 - 4) show.
 

Set your dancers up in the hallway beside the auditorium.
Your dancers should be responsible enough with our assistant’s support to navigate their performances on their own.

If you feel they may need added support please do not hesitate to provide that for them. If a routine they should be in does not appear to include them (oops they were chatting) please come and find a staff member so we can get them to the stage ASAP.

2:45 PM Arrival for the 3:00 PM Junior, Senior, Adult show.

Your dancers should be prepared and responsible enough to make this performance happen on their own. Please feel free to leave at the conclusion of your dancers' performances by exiting the audience between performances.

All teachers and assistants should arrive no later than 30 minutes before their show's start time.
10:15 - 10:30 AM Arrival for the 11:00 AM show. 

12:15 - 12:30 PM Arrival for the 1:00 PM show. 

1:15 - 2:30 PM Arrival for the 3:00 PM show.

AT THE SHOW AND AFTER THE SHOW: 
During the show, please practice patience and kindness. For our littlest dancers this can be very overwhelming being on stage for the first time. For our newest parents, we know you're anxious for them! Please trust the process, please read Lori's full letter and don't forget to cheer them on. You may absolutely record, or photograph during the show, but please do not use flash photography, as it can be a major distraction to our dancers and compromise their safety. 

 

After the show please remember to collect all of your dancer's belongings and exit the theatre, remember our staff needs to prepare to welcome another group of dancers directly following the first two shows. Have a wonderful holiday season. 


WINTER BREAK: 
Dance on Dance Center will be closed for regular classed from Saturday the 14th of December through January 3rd. Classes will resume on January 4th.
